Garmenting and technical textiles receive a 15% capital subsidy on eligible machinery, subject to a ceiling of ₹30 crore per entity; all other eligible segments (weaving/preparatory, processing, jute, silk, handloom, etc.) receive a 10% capital subsidy, subject to a ceiling of ₹20 crore. Subsidy is available only on new benchmarked machinery (indigenous or imported); second-hand machinery is not eligible. It is a one-time reimbursement claimed after installation and joint inspection, applied for online on the iTUFS portal with a Unique Identification Number (UID) generated per case.
