The applicant should establish a small-scale dairy unit with 10 milch cows. The applicant should procure indigenous Gir breed cows only. The applicant should avail a bank loan for implementation of the project. The applicant should utilise the subsidy strictly for approved components. The applicant should maintain records as per the General Financial Rules, 1963. Preference / Reservation / Relaxation: The applicant belonging to the Scheduled Caste or the Scheduled Tribe category is eligible for a higher subsidy rate under the back-ended subsidy and insurance components.
