Unit costs and subsidy rates are fixed per hectare and by crop spacing under G.O.Ms.No.9 dt. 28-03-2022, with the subsidy percentage varying by the farmer's social category. Priority is given to SC/ST/BC/Women and differently-abled farmers (mandatory SCSP 16.05% and TSP 9.55%, at least 25% for BC, up to 10% for other 2–5 ha farmers); portable sprinklers carry 75% subsidy (up to 1 ha). Empanelled MI companies (28) provide 10 years' after-sales service. Repeat benefit barred if any family member availed aid since 2014-15.
